When New Zealand's top franchise website needed large-scale redevelopment, Digital Fishbowl was selected as the web engineering and project management firm. Supplying vital, up to the minute information to potential Franchise purchasers, the site is content rich, and needed to be extremely simple to maintain, as well as integrating seamlessly with backend systems within Franchise New Zealand. The comments from the users speak for themselves - a true success. 
Franchise.co.nz uses the Digital Fishbowl content management system to provide easy maintenance of every facet of the site. Articles and editorial content, advertising placements and the franchise opportunity index are all controlled with the easy to use, totally secure administration interface. A site with a knowledge base of this magnitude generates a lot of enquiries - magazine orders, franchise information requests and customer enquiries all need to be handled efficiently. Digital Fishbowl worked with Franchise New Zealand to interface directly from the website into their back-office systems, automating much of the customer response process and allowing the FNZ team to provide the best possible service without cumbersome data handling routines. Franchise.co.nz presented us with another interesting challenge - working to translate a third-party graphic designer's vision into an effective web-friendly design. The magazine has a distinctive and well established look, which needed to be retained in the transition to screen. To this end, the magazines designer provided us with a graphical treatment of the front page, which gave us a strong basis for the design of the site as a whole. Combining our consulting, web engineering and database development with the designer's sense of brand identity led to a wonderful result, and has received outstanding feedback.
